Furniture store flood before

This call came to us on Memorial Day weekend. The city was redoing all the sidewalks downtown and got a bit too close to the building leaving exposed areas of this building unknowlingly. It stormed that evening causing the drains to run into the building and down the basement walls. The basement of this furniture store had water all across the floor. 

Thankfully this basement had a French drain around the wall perimeter which was able to hold some water. All the furniture was moved to the middle of the basement. The carpet tiles were all cleaned and placed back after extracting storm water from the concrete slab.
